Rearview Mirror is a kind of curved total reflection mirror. Different rearview mirrors with different curved shapes and specifications are used in automobiles and other vehicles. Rearview mirror is made of float glass by the thermal molding method. First, the float glass is put on the mould brick. Then it is heated in the high temperature bending furnace. It is softened and bent to the desired shape. The mould brick is the key to the quality of the rearview glass.

Glass Mould Brick is manufactured from micron grade material, which is pressed molding following being mixed by high speed blender. The maximum rod is 1000 with extremely fine section structure. 

 

Glass Mould Brick can resist high temperature up to 1000℃. It has low permanent linear change on reheating which ensures no distortion and no permanent linear change on the Mould Brick. It has extraordinary low heat conductivity and good thermal shock stability. No cracks even chap would be happening after long service. 

 

Glass Mould Brick is easy to be machined based on the customer request, which avoids waste from cutting of the big blocks. The cast mould brick has smooth surface, thus it can be used without polishing. 

 

Glass Mould Brick has extremely low expansion of coefficient and stable sizes and shapes, thus it can repeat the sizes and shapes accurately. Additionally, it has good oxidation resistance and wear resistance, which makes it a permanent mould and is ideal for the mass production of the rearview mirror.
