How to Avoid Traces on Hot Bent Glass Caused By Molds
Traces on the hot bent glass will affect the overall appearance of glass. There are four ways to reduce and avoid the traces on the hot bent glass caused by glass mould brick.
1)
When making glass mould brick, the contact edge of the mold and glass must be polished to remove sharp edges.
2) When molding glass, if too much pressure is put on the glass, it will cause visible traces on the edge of glass. So, when molding glass, try to control the glass molding by adjusting the temperature to minimize the external pressure glass.
3) It is preferable to coat stainless steel mold cloth on the edge of the mold, especially the edges of the mold that supports the glass.
4) For bent glass with large curvature, it is recommended to adopt open mold to reduce friction between the glass and the mold.
