Application of refractory materials in different parts of gl
I believe that everyone has a certain understanding of refractory materials. Today, Zhengzhou sunrise refractory materials will introduce you to the application of refractory materials in different parts of the glass furnace.
(1) Side wall
An ideal refractory material is placed in the sodium-calcium-silica glass furnace and the boron glass furnace to fuse the sidewalls of the AZS block. It contains 33-41% ZrO2. In the alkali-free glass or low-alkali glass fiber kiln, the side walls are all built with AZS bricks or dense zirconium bricks or fused silica bricks.
(2) bottom
The bricks at the bottom are required to have good wear resistance and good integrity. The bottom is now usually a multi-layer composite structure. The main layer of the multilayer structure is the layer of large fire clay bricks. The protective layer and the wear layer are laid on the fired clay bricks. The protective layer is made of zirconium lanthanum or AZS. The wear layer is laid over the protective layer to protect the bottom of the crucible and in direct contact with the molten glass. It is usually built with AZS bricks with good corrosion resistance and wear resistance. This composite bottom structure reduces heat loss and extends furnace life. In the case where the molten glass contains heavy elements (such as lead glass) or heavily corrosive glass (such as opal glass), in order to prevent leakage, another protective layer and a wear layer and a wear layer on the original protective layer are added. The original protective layer and wear layer are also secondary paving processes and can be constructed with sintered AZS bricks or zirconium bricks.
